The kids are wondering what the grown-ups are doing while they are asleep. The suggestions are many: they have a pillow fight in bed, they play PlayStation, and they drink soda pops and eat candy and go wild.
Alvin decides to find out if any of this is true. He stays awake at night, pretending to be asleep. He sneaks up on them, but all they do is watch TV. Alvin goes back to bed, but footsteps wake him up. It’s all starting now. Now, they are going to do what grown-ups do when the children are asleep.
