Skomsvold nominated for Booksellers' Prize

Kjersti Annesdatter Skomsvold's literary debut The Faster I Walk, the Smaller I Am has been nominated for the Booksellers' Prize, one of the most prestigious Norwegian literary prizes. Karl Ove Knausgård's My Struggle - First Book is also one of the nominees.

The “jury” for this annual prize consists of everyone working in Norwegian book stores. There are 10 nominees this year, including among others Roy Jacobsen and Herbjørg Wassmo. Previous winners include, among others, Per Petterson, Anne B. Ragde, Jo Nesbø, Jostein Gaarder, Erik Fosnes Hansen, Åsne Seierstad, Erlend Loe and Karin Fossum.

The winner will be announced on November 17th.
