Ark Childrens’ Book Prize to Bjørn Sortland

Sortland wins the prize for THE BERGEN MYSTERY, the 10th installment of his increasingly popular Art Detective series.

A childrens’ book prize in the proper sense of the word, the jury for the Ark prize consists of no fewer than 12,000 children from 5th to 7th grade from different places around the country.

Sortland's other book this year, WHAT THE HEART REMEMBERS, a beautifully designed picture book about Frida Kahlo, was earlier this autumn among the nominees for the Brage prize.
