What is Christianity?

This book gives several inspiring – and perhaps challenging – answers, drawing on the history of Christianity, ethics and humanism, controversial topics relating to gender and sexuality, politics, and Christianity in the global community. This is far from a traditional textual study of the Bible, ecclesiastical history, or doctrines of faith, but a book which takes an inside and outside look at Christianity as one of the major world religions. This is a book to challenge readers who have grown up in a Western society founded on Christian values. Exactly what are those values?
