The Vault

Cranner, Line: Hvelvet

Through Stara Zagora, a boy in women’s clothes is standing by the road
the radio fills the air with sound, Madonna
rubbish and plains, mjoozic
This country’s limited surface area
and the same landscape everywhere, same dust
The night is hot, bush fire along the road, everybody turns
the smoke covers the area in haze

Praise for The Vault:

”Compact and perceptible... a sober, nuanced and pure collection of texts with Bulgaria as pulse and base”

”A nice aura and understated tristesse”
