Grand Marine

Spange, Inger Marie: Grand Marine

A revolutionary invention, an apparent drowning accident and a daughter who has disappeared. Ulla Grande, a single mother, has to enter a world of dangerous men.

Ulla Grande is the only grandchild of Asbjørn Grande and the inheritor of his share of Grand Marine, a company in Moss that develops maritime electronics.

Not far from the town, at the holiday location of Fuglevik, Asbjørn Grande is found drowned. Ulla at first believes this is an accident, but shortly afterwards the partners in the company try to squeeze her out of Grand Marine. At the same time, cryptic messages turn up from her grandfather.

Ulla understands that something is wrong.

Asbjørn Grande had developed a new method of mapping marine life. The invention can simplify the search for underground seams of oil and gas so dramatically that certain people are willing to kill for it. Ulla’s life and that of others are in danger.

The clues take us out to sea in Ytre Oslofjord  and back to a fateful event in Ulla’s past.
