How Strange

Hagerup, Inger: Så rart

This classic in Norwegian children’s literature contains collected children’s rhymes from How Strange, Little Persil and That Summer. Inger Hagerup’s rhymes and jingles are catchy and have a peculiar humour. Nonsense verses alternate with fresh and fine poems about flowers and anilmals, birds and insects, bakers and shoemakers.

Illustraded by artist Paul Réne Gauguin (1911 - 1976). Gauguin was a Norwegian painter, graphical artist, sculptor, book illustrator and scenographer. He is particularly known for his coloured woodcuts.
